?The City of Brownwood is an authorized provider for the American Red Cross and will be accepting applications for the Learn to Swim summer program.

The City of Brownwood is an authorized provider for the American Red Cross and will be accepting applications for the Learn to Swim summer program. Registration will be at the Camp Bowie Family Aquatic Center, located at 3201 Milam Drive, at 8 to 9:45 a.m. on June 1st and 2nd 2021.  

 

Registration is a first come, first serve basis. Entry fee is $50 per session per child. Scholarships are available. Cash or Check is acceptable. No debit or credit cards. Children must be 4 years old at the time of registration.

 

During registration, swimmers will be assigned to a Learn to Swim session based on their swim level. 

 

If parents are not sure what swim level their child is, instructors will be on site to test children’s skills in the water. Children need to be prepared to enter the water in order to have their skills assessed on registration day.

 

There will be 3 Learn to Swim sessions:

 

Session #1: June 8th to June 18th

  • 8:00 AM & 9:00 AM – Level I & II

Session #2: June 29th to July 9th

  • 8:00 AM  – Level I & II 
  • 9:00 AM – Level III & IV

Session # 3:  July 20th to July 30th 

  • 8:00 AM – Level I & II 
  • 9:00 AM – Level V & VI
